- revdep cache in /var/cache
 - list all .so files this package depends on
 - use timestamps of files to know when to rebuild
  - if ts of cache is older than any of the package's contained
    files, we must rebuild
- update to use equery/gentoolkit
- rewrite in python and/or eclectic module
