+Foundation dissolution status update (following vote in bug 925736)

+ulm updated Council: a letter was sent to SPI and they would be discussing
+our application at their March meeting.
+
+mattst88 noted that the Gentoo Council had voted 7-0 in favor and the
+Gentoo Foundation's Trustees had voted in favor by 5-0.

+Reservations were raised because a specific motion or proposal wasn't given
+on the ML and there wasn't sufficient consensus amongst Council to vote
+on a specific measure.
+
+It was agreed that the topic should be brought back up on the ML and then
+revisited in the next meeting depending on how the ML discussion went.

+Open bugs with Council participation
+====================================

+The only bug to be discussed was https://bugs.gentoo.org/925736
+("Vote: Gentoo Linux applies to become an SPI associated project") already
+discussed as agenda item 2.
+

+
+* robbat2 submitted an emergency item [4] to the agenda for (reapproval of)
+infra hardware purchases because of changing prices and stock availability.
+
+Motion: approve new expenditure, replacing previous motion from bug 834712,
+for the historical distfile archive (30TB usable via 15TB RAID5 drives would be 6x$1800=$10800 (for 2 servers).
+
+Vote results: 6 yes, 0 no, 1 absent - motion passes
+
+* It was noted that SPI's meeting where they would be discussing our application
+was the next day, and Council members agreed to try attend.
