* sys-libs/gpm: include compiled docs to avoid texinfo dep #585094Mike Frysinger2016-06-062-3/+15
| | | | | | | Rather than require texinfo all the time (just to generate the info page), build them by hand and ship them as an addon patch. Ideally this would be in upstream, but we're working on that already. Let's fix stable until that happens.

* toolchain-funcs.eclass: gen_usr_ldscript: integrate multilib_is_native_abi ↵Mike Frysinger2016-03-301-1/+1
| | | | | | | | support #479448 Many ebuilds have started checking multilib_is_native_abi to see if they should call gen_usr_ldscript. Since that logic always makes sense, add it directly to the gen_usr_ldscript function.

* Unify quoting in metadata.xml files for machine processingMichał Górny2016-01-241-2/+2
| | | | | | | Force unified quoting in all metadata.xml files since lxml does not preserve original use of single and double quotes. Ensuring unified quoting before the process allows distinguishing the GLEP 67-related metadata.xml changes from unrelated quoting changes.

This commit represents a new era for Gentoo: Storing the gentoo-x86 tree in Git, as converted from CVS. This commit is the start of the NEW history. Any historical data is intended to be grafted onto this point. Creation process: 1. Take final CVS checkout snapshot 2. Remove ALL ChangeLog* files 3. Transform all Manifests to thin 4. Remove empty Manifests 5. Convert all stale $Header$/$Id$ CVS keywords to non-expanded Git $Id$ 5.1. Do not touch files with -kb/-ko keyword flags. Signed-off-by: Robin H.
